Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel battery arranged so that the inflow of water into a power generation cell can be suppressed.SOLUTION: A fuel battery comprises a hydrogen gas-introduction passage 12 including through-holes 31, 51, 61, 81, 101, 111 formed in power generation cells 10 and an end cell 11, extending in a stacking direction D of the power generation cells 10, and serving to distribute and introduce a hydrogen gas to hydrogen gas passages of the power generation cells 10 and a bypass flow passage of the end cell 11. The end cell 11 has "First Structure" in which a part corresponding to a bottom wall of the hydrogen gas-introduction passage 12 in the through-hole 81 of an upstream-side second separator 80, and a part corresponding to the bottom wall of the hydrogen gas-introduction passage 12 in the through-hole 101 of a frame plate 100 are concave downward in comparison to a corresponding part of the power generation cell 10. In addition, the end cell 11 has "Second Structure" in which a part corresponding to the bottom wall of the hydrogen gas-introduction passage 12 in the through-hole 111 of a downstream-side second separator 110 located on a downstream side is convex upward in comparison to a corresponding part of the power generation cell 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
