Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell capable of reducing the temperature gradient within a porous support substrate.SOLUTION: A fuel cell 301 comprises: an insulating porous support substrate 20; a plurality of power generating units 10 disposed on the porous support substrate 20; an insulating dense seal layer 11A covering at least a part of an external surface of the porous support substrate 20; and an intermediate layer 11B interposed between the dense seal layer 11A and the porous support substrate 20 and electrically connected to one of the power generating units 10. The conductivity of the intermediate layer 11B is higher than the conductivity of each of the porous support substrate 20 and the dense seal layer 11A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
