Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a maximum output by a minimum space by laminating a cell of a fuel cell formed by a flat thin plate, and electrically connecting an oxygen electrode of the cell to a fuel electrode of the next cell by a conductive member. CONSTITUTION: A cell 1 to 3 of a fuel cell formed by a flat thin plate with a high temperature solid electrolyte as the base, formed of stabilized zirconium oxide, is layered in a stack shape, an oxygen electrode 2 of the cell is electrically connected in series to a fuel electrode 3 of the next cell by a conductive member 4. In this way, rational manufacture by a large industrial scale is made capable, a large output unit device can be obtained by use in series connection of the cell, ensuring good current passing between adjacent cells with a slight loss and collection in a block state.
