PURPOSE: To make it possible to restrict the fuel control when a power transmission stop condition is generated for a short time, by controlling the feeding fuel depending on the power transmission condition of an output pickup system, and slowing down the operation speed to the fuel control side while operating the fuel control device, in the power transmission stop condition.
CONSTITUTION: In an engine E where a clutch and a shift gear 5 are furnished at the output pickup system, and where the fuel feeding to the engine is controlled by a speed governor 2, a fuel feeding control device 10 is added to the governor 2. This control device 10 can be converted to the control position and the withdrawal position by a fuel control converter L (diaphragm type actuator 16). When the power transmission ON/OFF condition of at least the clutch or the shift gear 5 is detected by a detector S (limit switch 26), the control device 10 is converted to the fuel control side. In this case, the control device 10 is composed to slow down the operation speed to the fuel control side.
