To make shortenable the work time by moving fuel assembly between a reactor and fuel storage pool with a fuel exchanging machine and placing and taking out a double blade guide in the reactor with another auxiliary dolly.
Two spent fuel assemblies 3 loaded in diagonal positions of 1 control cell in a core 5 are taken out in turn with a fuel handling machine(FHM) 2 and moved to a fuel storage pool 11, and the spent fuel 3 is stored in fuel storage racks 10 in a fuel storage pool 11. At this moment, an auxiliary dolly 1 is waiting in a component tentative placing pool 13 with holding state of a double blade guide(DBG). In parallel to this, DBG 4 in the component tentative placing pool 13 is moved to the core 5 with the auxiliary dolly 1 and taken out spent fuel 3 is placed in a vacant space. The auxiliary dolly 1 is retiring on the component tentative placing pool 13 after moving the DBG 4 so as not to interfere the work of fuel handling machine(FHM) 2. In this manner, the work time can be shortened and the periodical inspection time can be shortened.
