Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel holder capable of housing even a fuel assembly formed according to any specification without backlash, a using method of the fuel holder, and a transportation method of a fuel assembly.SOLUTION: There is provided a fuel holder comprises a housing shell, support plates, and energizing means, in which the housing shell has four inner wall surfaces orthogonal to each other in a place where a housing space capable of housing even any fuel assembly having different specification is formed, the support plate is provided for each of adjacent inner wall surfaces out of the four inner wall surfaces, the energizing means is provided for each of two inner wall surfaces for which the support plate is not provided, and has energizing force directed to the other inner wall surfaces which mutually oppose each of the two inner wall surfaces, the support plate and the energizing means have a size large enough to contact an outer peripheral surface of a grid of a top tie plate despite any fuel assembly having different specification and are capable of fixing the grid, and there are also provided a using method of the fuel holder and a transportation method of the fuel assembly.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
