PURPOSE: To simplify calculation process by setting a reference fuel injection pulse width stored in the vicinity of the side of the no-load region of a clutch meet line on a reference fuel injection pulse width map, through adding a correction for acceleration increase.
CONSTITUTION: A reference fuel injection pulse width stored in the vicinity of the no-load region side of a clutch meet line on a reference fuel injection pulse width map MPTp, is set by adding a correction for acceleration increase. A reference fuel injection pulse width Tp is searched from the map MPTp by a reference fuel injection pulse setting means 52, with parameters of engine rotation N and throttle opening α, and a fuel injection pulse Ti is set by adding each kind of correction through a fuel injection pulse setting means 55. Since the Tp, to which the correction for acceleration increase is added, is gradually increased as the parameters N, α are shifted to larger positions, the correction for acceleration increase at the time of starting is not needed to be added. Calculation process is thus simplified, and the load to a microcomputer can be mitigated as much.
