Abstract:
To provide a method for a fuel system for reducing evaporative emission of volatile fuel.
A fuel tank stores fuel, a carburetor mixes fuel from the fuel tank with air, and a plurality of fluid paths feed fuel between the fuel tank and the carburetor. A valve driving device stops flow of fuel in one or more of the plurality of fluid paths, and the carburetor discharges fuel to reduce or prevent evaporative emissions from the fuel system during stop of an engine. The carburetor is designed to minimize volume of fuel stored in it.
