Abstract:

To provide a function generator capable of being compact and operating in a microwave band.

Micromachine switching elements SW1 to SWN and damping elements R1 to RN are connected in series, respectively. A switch array 1 comprising a plurality of units controlling conductance of the damping elements R1 to RN by turning on and off the switching elements SW1 to SWN connected in parallel is provided. Resistance values formed by the damping elements R1 to RN of the switch array 1 are set to be resistance values giving the relationship between an input voltage value and output current value based on the target function by giving on and off control on the switching elements R1 to RN corresponding to an input voltage value, and a current value determined by the resistance value and input voltage value is outputted.
