Abstract:

To provide functional food increasing an amount of peripheral blood flow in vivo to promote cellular metabolism in vivo so that respective components having potential for turning to raw material for brain hormone once ingested in vivo are rapidly and favorably absorbed in the digestion/absorption organs in vivo, and rapidly and favorably pass through the blood-brain barrier in vivo to be rapidly and favorably absorbed in brain cells.

The functional food comprises (a) lysophosphatidylcholine, (b) lysophosphatidylserine and/or phosphatidylserine, (c) vitamin B, and (d) vitamin E, each as an essential component.
