To provide a game machine which reduces erroneous detection of the passing-through state of a game medium by easily setting the reference level of a light quantity for detecting the passing-through state of the game medium.
A pawl part 532a of a feeding gate member 530a has a recessed part 532a1 formed on a surface opposing an optical path through which light of a feeding sensor unit provided on a downstream side in a flow-down direction passes. The recessed part 532a1 is formed at nearly the whole center part spaced by a fixed interval from the outer edge of the pawl part 532a, and its cross section is nearly V-shaped. By forming the pawl part 532a1, reflection of light emitted from a light-emitting element by the surface of the pawl part 532a and reception of the reflected light by a light-receiving element are reduced. Thus, variance of the light quantity received by the light-receiving element is reduced, so that the reference level of the light quantity for detecting the passing-through state of the game medium can be set easily, and the erroneous detection of the passing-through state of the game medium is reduced.
