To increase game interest.SOLUTION: A game machine includes: a first passage through which game balls can be distributed; a first ball entry area into which game balls can enter; distribution mode changing means for changing a distribution mode of the reached game balls; and switching means for switching a state of the distribution mode changing means between a first state in which it is impossible or difficult to send game balls that have reached the distribution mode changing means to the first ball entry area and a second state in which it is possible or easy to send game balls that have reached the distribution mode changing means to the first ball entry area. The switching means, as an operation mode for switching the state of the distribution mode changing means between the first state and the second state, includes a first mode in which it is impossible or difficult to cause game balls enter the first ball entry area if game balls are not distributed in the first passage and a second mode in which it is possible or easy to cause game balls enter the first ball entry area even if game balls are not distributed in the first passage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 398
