Abstract:

To provide a game parlor system configured to reduce equipment cost without providing a dedicated reader/writer for each game machine by reading information stored in an NFC (near field communication) device by a portable terminal, and to enable a player to acquire game information on a game machine without requiring a complicated operation.

The game parlor system includes: a communication terminal 80 of a player; an RF tag 90 provided for each game machine 10 and performing radio communication based on an NFC standard with the communication terminal 80 to transmit game machine specific information to the communication terminal 80; and a Web server 70 storing game information on each game machine 10, receiving the game machine specific information from the communication terminal 80, and transmitting game information on the game machine 10 corresponding to the game machine specific information, to the communication terminal 80. The communication terminal 80 includes an execution processing section for automatically carrying out a series of processing for transmitting the game machine specific information received from the RF tag 90, to the Web server 70, receiving the game information from the Web server 70 and displaying the game information.
