To enable a single ray radiation source to be used in the screen image of SPECT(single photon emission computer tomography) and PET(proton emission tomography), and at the same time enable a radiation beam being transmitted from the ray radiation source to cross a detector head without moving the ray radiation source for sweeping.
A transmission radiation source body suited for use by both of SPECT and PET images includes a ray radiation source body 35 with a medium energy transmission source, and includes a primary collimator 56 that is arranged rotatably around a medium energy transmission source 65. The primary collimator 56 includes at least one beam limitation groove 95 for forming a transmission beam width being emitted from the ray radiation source 35. A collimator 57 that performs on/off operation is rotatably arranged around the primary collimator and controls the on/off state of the ray radiation source 35. The collimator for performing on/off operation includes a beam outlet groove 120, and emits the ray radiation source 35 to the transmission beam when being aligned with one of the beam limitation grooves.
