Abstract:
To provide a gap adjusting device and a brake device that use driving force of a brake cylinder only for operation of the brake device.SOLUTION: A gap adjusting device 100 comprises a gap adjuster 101 for adjusting a gap between a disk and a brake block 12 of a caliper brake device 20, a detection switch 90 for detecting an amount of movement of a first rod 73 of a cylinder device 60, and an actuation part 110 for actuating the gap adjuster 101 by using compressed air supplied from the outside of the cylinder device 60 when the detection switch 90 detects that the amount of movement of the first rod 73 is equal to or larger than a predetermined value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
