Abstract:
To provide a gas generator for an occupant restraint system capable of enhancing the pressure resistance and the fracture resistance of a closing member forming a sealing means of pressurized gas.
A first closing member 40 which is one means to seal gas in a pressurized gas chamber 20 is protruded into the pressurized gas chamber 20 side against the gas pressure. Thus, the first closing member has excellent pressure resistance against the gas pressure, and easily fracture compared with a conventional case in which the member is protruded to the opposite side under the gas pressure.
