Abstract:
To easily prevent rotation of a pinion, without being restricted in use on dimension and providing a key and a key groove, that is needed for a Wankel type pump rotated while revolving a rotor by engaging an inner gear of the rotor offset from a pinion fixed on a housing with the pinion.
A flange part 7a having a naturally waving outer periphery according to plastic deformation quantity difference at the time of forging is provided to one end of the pinion 7 provided by forging and engaged with a seat hole 1a of the housing 1 to be fixed by caulking. When caulking, wall part of the housing is made to flow into wave valleys of outer periphery of the housing 1 to prevent rotation of the pinion 7.
