Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a defect of high price found in the prior art driving motor for an electric car based on a concept in which its output is drawn out by a driving shaft connected to its rotating shaft when the driving motor has a small diameter, or even if the driving motor having a large diameter is manufactured and applied for driving operation.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a system in which several large diameter thin-type turning electrical machines of reverse rotation to each other are connected by a central shaft and used as a driving motor 10 for an electric car, and a friction wheel 22 having a driving shaft 23 passed therein is inserted in a space held by one friction plate acting as a side plate of a rotor of an upper driving motor and the other friction plate acting as a side plate of a rotor of a lower driving motor to make a device capable of changing speed at their abutted positions, resulting that it is possible to constitute a less-expensive infinite variable-speed drive having a simple structure.
