To construct a geared motor series which can supply a geared motor at a low cost, capable of coping with various market needs.
In a motor side connection section 18 wherein a motor M having a helical pinion 12 and a gear head G having a helical gear are provided to the motor M, and in a gear head side connection section 20 wherein the motor M and the gear head G are provided to the gear head G, a detachably connected geared motor GM is attained in a series. Three types of motors M1, M2 and M3 are common in the shape of the motor side connection section 18 and in tooth form data of the helical pinion 12. Two types of gear heads G1, G2 are common in the shape of the gear head side connection section 20 and in tooth form data of the helical gear. In the geared motor series 10, connection for power transmission is possible in any combination between the three types of motors M1, M2 and M3 and the two type of gear head G1, G2.
