Abstract:

PURPOSE: To separate/analyse protein, peptide or nucleic acid of which molecular weight widely ranges from 1,000 to hundreds of thousands, with high accuracy, resolution and reproducibility by using a kind of polyacrylamide gel.

CONSTITUTION: As for gel electrophoresis method for protein, peptide or nucleic acid of which molecular weight ranges from 1,000 to hundreds of thousands, polycrylamide gel with concentration gradient of 2-25% is used for gel electrophoresis of protein, peptide or nucleic acid. One butter solution of tris-tricine mixture, tris-bicine mixture, tris-2-(N-morpholino) ethanesulfonic acid, and tris- N-(acetoamide)-2-aminoethanesulfonic acid is used for electrophoresis buffer solution.
