To provide a means for efficiently selecting a marker without losing a peculiar tendency in each condition in searching a marker based on data of specimen groups having different conditions, and a versatile and practical diagnostic system with excellent diagnostic accuracy.
The marker selection program for selecting a marker used for gene diagnosis performs analysis using specimen databases 12 and 13 held by two or more groups to which a plurality of specimens belong to, respectively. The analysis is performed without integration of all specimen data, whereby even information for a minor group can be surely reflected to gene search. Since features of each group can be reflected, an accurate diagnostic equation can be obtained, and a practical diagnostic system can be provided.
