Abstract:

To provide confirmation that a transcription control factor negatively controlling ferrichrome biosynthesis is encoded in a gene fragment sreO cloned in the invention, possibility of enhanced production or non-production of the ferrichrome biosynthesis of Aspergillus under the limitation of iron using the gene, possibility of modification in molecular level of ferrichrome production in response to usage, and applicability of the gene in various industrial fields.

A gene encoding transcription factor controlling expression of ferrichrysin biosynthesis gene of Aspergillus is cloned and the base sequence is determined.
