Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a widely applicable earth clop which can be fixed easily in an optical fiber cable. SOLUTION: An earth clip for wide application consists of a flame assembled part having a first terminal part and a second terminal part, a base part installed in the first terminal part of the frame, and a pair of leg parts extended from the first terminal part toward the second terminal part in which a cross member is positioned between both leg parts and in this way an aperture to insert a cable into the center of the frame is formed. A pair of opposing grip members are supported on the inside of the aperture and the members are made movable to approach each other in order to fix a cable. Respective grip members have a pair of branched leg parts and an arc part having teeth formed so as to grip a cable is formed in either one of branched sides. At least one aperture for an earth wire is formed in the base part and penetrates the base, so that when the grip members fix a cable in the frame, the earth wire is fixed simultaneously.
