Title:
GENERATOR, FITTED TO ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3131161
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable increase in an output of a generator, fitted to an engine, without causing alteration in the engine or complication of an electrical system.
SOLUTION: A generator, fitted to an engine, is constituted in the following manner. A plurality of flywheels 16 and 17, having magnets 27 and 28 for power generation respectively, are fitted to the one end part of a crank shaft 1 of the engine, so that they are juxtaposed in the axial direction of the crank shaft 2. Coils 31 and 32 for power generation, facing opposite the magnets 27 and 28 of the flywheels 16 and 17, respectively are supported by fixed parts 2 and 29 of the engine. Since the flywheels 16 and 17 also take the moment of rotation in the crank shaft 1, nonuniformity in the rotation of the crank shaft 1 can be reduced.
