Title:
GHOST REMOVING REFERENCE SIGNAL HAVING BESSEL CHIRP SIGNAL AND PUSEUDO-NOISE SEQUENTIAL STRING SIGNAL, AND TELEVISION RECEIVER UTILIZING THE REFERENCE SIGNAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH06245110
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To continuously attain quick and efficient ghost elimination calculation and equalization calculation by including both a chirp signal and a pseudo noise sequential signal in the active area of each selected scanning line. CONSTITUTION: A ghost elimination reference GCR signal capturing processor 90 separates a Bessel chirp signal part from the captured GCR signal, and this chirp signal part is impressed to a ghost elimination filter weighted value computer 91. Also, the processor 90 separates a pseudo noise PN sequential column signal from the captured GCR signal, and this PN sequential column signal part is impressed to an equalization filter weighted value computer 92. A composite video signal from an A/D converter 79 is impressed through the ghost elimination filter 93 and the equalization filter 94 to a luminance/color separator 95. The filter 93 decides an adjustable filtering weighted value equivalent to the calculated result by the computer 91, and the filter 94 decides it by the computer 92.
