PURPOSE: To retard the increase of the reflectance of light within a specified wavelength region and to attenuate the intensity of light in the ultraviolet region by forming either one thin layer of a material among metal oxides, metal fluorides, and transition metal oxides on one side of a transparent glass substrate and forming at least one thin layer selected from Cr-Ni alloy and Co alloy superposed thereon.
CONSTITUTION: A first layer 3 and a second layer 4 are formed in layers on one side of a transparent glass substrate 1, and said first layer 3 is constituted of a metal oxide, metal fluoride, or a transition metal oxide, and the second layer 4 is constituted of Cr-Ni alloy or Co alloy. By this constitution, almost all of the light in the ultraviolet rays region is cut by the first layer, and the light in the 500W5,500nm wavelength region can be attenuated remarkably. Moreover, the tone of the reflected light can be set in order by the second layer.
