Abstract:
To provide a glass mirror device having reduced weight, and/or having resistance to damages due to various environmental conditions, and a manufacturing method of the glass mirror device.SOLUTION: An example of a method for manufacturing a glass mirror device 101 includes a process for providing a chemically reinforced glass sheet 103 having a thickness of about 2 mm or less. The method further includes a process for applying a reflection layer 109 to a second main surface 107 of the glass sheet for providing a first glass mirror 111. The glass mirror device has the chemically reinforced glass sheet having a thickness of about 2 mm or less, and the reflection layer applied to the second main surface of the glass sheet for providing the first glass mirror.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
