In a heater 20 having a chip side protruded from a chip part of a housing 1 and a rear end side stored within the housing 1, a chip face serves as a pressure receiving face 23 and the heater 20 transmits combustion pressure to a pressure detecting element 40. A glow conduction cylindrical member 55 formed to have a cylindrical shape and supplying electric power to the heater 20 is provided on the axial rear end side from the heater 20 within the housing 1. A sensor terminal 42 and a signal processing circuit 43 for taking out signals from the pressure detecting element 40 are arranged inside the glow conduction cylindrical member 55.
