Title:
GLYCOPROTEIN 10 GENE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3034994
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a new gene capable of coding a core protein of a glycoprotein 10, derived from a human and useful as a tumor marker, immunoabnormality marker or a marker for various inflammatory diseases.
CONSTITUTION: This glycoprotein 10 gene comprises a base sequence capable of coding, e.g. an amino acid sequence of the formula. The glycoprotein 10 gene is obtained by separating the whole RNA from a cell expressing the glycoprotein 10, purifying an mRNA therefrom, synthesizing a cDNA, then constructing a library in which the cDNA is integrated in an expression vector and screening a clone having the glycoprotein 10 gene with an antiglycoprotein 10 antibody.
