An assemblage 4 of center core material 1 and a preformed wrapping member 2 is arranged in a cavity 6 of a die 5. A composition 10 comprising a binder consisting of agar and water, metal powders having specific gravity lower than the material used for core 1, and a kind of powder selected from ceramic powder and these mixture, are injected into the cavity 6 in the die 5. A green body is formed, from which water is eliminated and is subjected to sintering.
