Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the mixing of unnecessary matter low in specific gravity with sorted good grain.
CONSTITUTION: The grain charged in a winnowing machine 20 is drawn into an exhaust chamber 9 from a suction port 36 through a suction duct 17 while the unnecessary matter such as small straw refuse or dust low in specific gravity mixed with grain is separated in a winnowing part. The grain high in specific gravity falls from the winnowing part to enter a supply hopper 4 from the grain outlet of the winnowing machine 20 and is lifted by the action of the sorting net member rotating at a low speed and grain lifting spiral cylinder rotating at a high speed arranged in a shell body 1 to be sorted into good grain and waste grain and the good grain is stored in a storage tank 5 while the waste grain falls W the shell body 1 to enter the exhaust chamber 9 to be discharged out of the sorter along with unnecessary matter from a duct 18.
