These ribs 8 are penetrated from the upper part toward the bottom part of the head and their front parts are exposed to the hitting surface part 3a. On the other hand, the rear parts are formed to a shape not exposed to the rear surface part 3b. Also the plural ribs 8 are preferably formed gradually shorter toward both ends of the hitting surface part 3a and at this time, the maximum length (depth) 8d of the central rib 8m is formed to 40 to 100% of the width D between the hitting surface part 3a and the rear surface part 3b. The width of the respective ribs 8 is preferably formed to 3 to 6 mm.
