Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an original reader of high quality and high reliability for not generating picture element deviation among respective blocks and the position deviation and inclination of a read line.
CONSTITUTION: In this original reader 10 constituted of an LED chip 5, plural lenses 17, the plural pieces of semiconductor chips 15 in one-to-one correspondence with the respective lenses 17 and a case body 9 composed of a high polymer material and provided with a columnar recessed part 18, the lens 17 is provided with a circular body part 17f whose diameter is maximum in a direction vertical to an optical axis. Along with it, the circular body part 17f is arranged on a light incident side from the optical center of the lens 17 and further, the circular body part 17f is inserted to the inner part of the columnar recessed part 18 for the lens 17. Thus, it is adhered and fixed to the inner wall of the ultrasonic-welded columnar recessed part 18.
