Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the handling property of fruits to be evaluated at the time of grade evaluation and to assure spaces between sorting conveyors.
CONSTITUTION: The beginning ends of sorting conveyors 12 to 15 consisting of plural lines are disposed between a roller conveyor 11 for grade sorting for receiving and transferring the received or the properly pretreated fruits and the sorting space for grading operators. An off-grade transporting conveyor 18 communicating with an off-standard article housing section is disposed above the roller conveyor 11 for grade sorting, by which the spaces utilizable for maintenance, etc., are assured between the sorting conveyors on the downstream side of the roller conveyor 11 for grade sorting.
