To provide a grain tank having an increased volume for making the fieldwork by a combine harvester efficient, and also showing a small reduction in quality such as break at the trunk part of a chaff even when the poured height of the chaffs into the grain tank becomes high.
This grain tank 30 is provided by separating the tank 30 into two, i.e., an upper part and a lower part, and making the upper tank part 30a as capable of sliding in up and down direction against the lower tank part 30b. By installing a chaff pouring in port 26 at the upper tank part 30a, it becomes possible to maintain the falling down height of the chaffs at a set height or lower even when the upper tank part 30a moves upwards. Also, by forming a penetrating rod 36 at the upper tank part 30a and a guiding pipe 35 at the lower tank part 30b, the penetrating rod 36 is guided into the guiding pipe 35. A chaff-receiving plate 37 is installed at the inner circumference of the upper tank part 30a inclined in the downward direction.
