Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the graphic editing device which enables a user to obtain an output (print) result without any failure by using a function corresponding to an output device to plot even unless the user knows characteristics of the output device.
SOLUTION: Relating to the graphic editing device which generates and edits figures, symbols, characters, etc., consisting of objects on a display and selectively outputs them to output devices, the precision, blur, deformation etc., of a selected output device are acquired (S3), whether or not the graphic editing and generating functions of the graphic editing device can be used for the selected output device is decided (S13), and when not, a menu regarding the functions and objects which are generated by using the function is not displayed.
