Abstract:

To provide a graphic operation panel capable of easily extending a display function.

The graphic operation panel 1 is provided with an extended bus connector 32 capable of attaching/detaching an extending unit 4 capable of extending the display function of a body unit 3. When the extending unit 4 having an overlay display function is attached, a route via the unit 4 is formed as a substitute for a route obtained before attaching the unit 4, i.e., a route from the unit 3 to a display unit 2 and a picture obtained from a personal computer is displayed on the unit 2 in an overlaid state. When the unit 2 receives specific operation, the panel 1 displays a menu including a setting item. In this case, a CPU 34 refers to a menu program data memory 53 in the unit 4 and displays a setting item corresponding to the unit 4 loaded on its own equipment.
