PURPOSE: To generate various shapes on a primitive graphic by changing normalized displacement information to a desired size bringing it to mapping to basic graphic and using it as outline information of the graphic.
CONSTITUTION: The figure expresses an outlinte of a result synthesizing an axis of abscissa coordinated to a range '0' - 2 π in which each point on the periphery exists and an axis of ordinate showing displacement in the normal direction from each point. As for this relation, for instance, when the displace ment quantity corresponding to θa is Δra, a composite outline point Q (ra + Δra, θa) is coordinated to an outline point P (ra, θa) of a basic graphic. In this case, its displacement quantity is denoted as '1' and '0' at (2n + 1) π/8(n = 0, 1, 2...7), and 2n π/8(n = 0, 1, 2...8), respectively, and in a position on an outline of other basic graphic, a value obtained by connecting successively each point of m π/8(m = 0, 1, 2,... 16) by a straight line is adopted. In such a way, various graphics can be formed.
