Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable the appropriate selection of a grinding wheel even by an unskilled worker and perform automatic control on grinding appropriately with efficiency.

CONSTITUTION: A grinding wheel condition file 26 with suitable grinding wheel conditions by various kinds of target conditions recorded therein, and a grinding wheel file 28 with the attributes of various grinding wheels 16 usable in a jig grinding device 10 recorded therein are previously prepared. The grinding wheel suitable for the grinding of a workpiece 2 is automatically selected to prepare an NC program 30 which is sent to an NC device 11 to get the jig grinding device 10 to execute the expected grinding.
