PURPOSE: To provide a grinding disc with which only a material to be ground can be easily ground without injuring a metal product, it can be prevented that the disc is damaged as the disc itself cuts into the ground member, and stable grinding works can be maintained without generating chip plugging at grinding cutters.

CONSTITUTION: A grinding disc 4 is constructed in such a way as forming notched parts 42 on the outer circumferential face 41, as being notched toward the inside of a virtual circle positioned on the contour of the grinding disc 4 by viewing it in the axial direction, for using the rear edge lines relative to, the direction of rotation, out of ridge lines caused by mutual intersection between the inner faces 43 of the notched parts 42 and the outer circumferential face 41 of the grinding disc 4, as grinding cutters 44, and forming recessed parts 46 on the side face 45, as being extended from the notched parts 42 in the axial direction, and for using the rear edge, lines relative to the direction of rotation, out of ridge lines caused by mutual intersection between the inner faces 47 of the recessed parts 46 and the side face 45, as grinding cutters 48.
