Abstract:
To provide a grinding method forming in a short grinding time, a tubular type cutter having no minute crack on each tip of a plurality of circular cutters.SOLUTION: A grinding method comprises a first grinding process of grinding the periphery of a tubular cutter by rotating the tubular cutter having a plurality of circular cutters lined up coaxially and moving a cup type grind stone along the rotary shaft direction of the tubular cutter while contacting an annular plane part of the rotating cup type grind stone on the outer periphery of the rotating tubular cutter. The first grinding process is carried out in such a range that the overlapping amount obtained from the distance between the edge line in an outer peripheral part of the tubular cutter and the inner peripheral part of the annular plane part of the cup type grind stone, is 0 or more but 3/4 or less of inner diameter radius of the above grind stone.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
