Abstract:
To provide a guard fence for a rock fall or the like, by which the collapse of a support can be prevented by cushioning load to the support even when large load is applied to a wire rope.
In the guard fence for the rock fall or the like, which has at least a pair of the end-section supports 1 and 2 and in which a plurality of the wire ropes 6 are bridged vertically between these end-section supports 1 and 2 while wire gauzes 6b are installed to these wire ropes 6, sections among a pair of the end-section supports 1 and 2 and the wire rope 2 are connected continuously through coil springs 8, by which the wire ropes 6 are urged towards the outside of the guard fence.
