Title:
GUIDING MISSILE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH04139400
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent a guiding missile from being inabled by a method wherein when a target passes near a guiding missile, its relative speed is substantially reduced.

CONSTITUTION: A guiding missile M' is controlled to be flied in the same direction as that of a target to an estimated lotus of a target 1 with a command signal 13 sent from a launching machine 12 at the beginning and middle period. When a relative distance is within a predetermined distance, the missile is cut off from a thrusting device 24 and an antenna 6 just fixed in front of the thrusting device is directed toward the target and then locked. After this setting, the missile is guided to the merging point with the target 1 (an estimated lotus of the missile) by itself. Finally, when the target passes near the guided missile M (no problem may occur after direct shooting), its relative speed is made slow, so that a timing of explosion of the bullet 22 can be taken and then an inability of the guided missile M' can be avoided.
