PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize self-standing properties and develop no trouble at automatic charging and further prevent liquid leakage from developing at the mounting of a spout by a method wherein a square pressing jig, the shape of which is the same as that of the bottom face of a bag, is inserted from a charging opening side so as to pinch the bottom face between the pressing jig and a hot platen applied to the outside of the bottom face.
SOLUTION: A main body 1 has a structure, in which a bottom sealing 5 is performed after V-shaped gussets 4 and 4a are inserted between both the sides of the front face 2 and the rear face 3 of the main body and, at the same time, inverted truncated chevron-like oblique sealings 6 and 6a are performed and ribs 7 are formed by performing heat sealing along four corners. Cut-out parts 9, which are formed at the upper end four corners of the gussets 4 and 4a, are formed only in a bag, to which a spout is attached. In a gusset bag, the whole bottom 11 is pinched between a pressing jig 12 having the same size and shape as those of the bottom 11 and being inserted from a charging opening side and a hot platen 13 applied from the outside of the bottom 11 through pressing. As a result, the bottom 11 is thermally formed flat as a whole.
