Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gyrocompas capable of automatic selection of correction mode suitable for operation condition of a ship by providing a means to automatically correct errors with a means to automatically select a correction mode suitable for operation condition of a ship according to an output of a sensor.
SOLUTION: This gyrocompas 20 has an azimuth/attitude computing part 2 as a means of computing the azimuth and attidute to which outputs of an acceleration meter 3 and a gyro 10 of a ship are input, a correction amount estimation part 9 as a means to which outputs of a GPS 11 and an electromagnetic log 13 of the ship are input so as to automatically correct an error of the azimuth/attitude computation part 2, and an error correction amount computing part 5. The gyrocompas 20, also, includes an operation condition determination part 1 serving as a means of automatically selecting a correction mode. Accordingly, the correction mode of the azimuth/attitude computing part suitable for the operation condition of ship can be selected automatically.
