Abstract:

To provide a hair treatment composition containing a specific combination of effective materials and suitable for being applied to the hair in order to treat or recover injured hair.

The hair treatment composition comprises (i) 0.2-3 wt.% of a disaccharide selected from trehalose, cellobiose or a mixture thereof, (ii) a dibasic aid expressed by the formula: HOOC-(CH2)n-COOH [wherein n represents 2-8 integer], and (iii) a guanidinium salt, and has pH 3-5.
