PURPOSE: To make it possible to directly apply warm water to hair by brushing, by a method wherein a heater is exposed on the surface of a brush main body, and a water-absorbing substance is arranged on the surface thereof and held by an brush attachment depressing the surroundings thereof.

CONSTITUTION: In a brush main body 6, a heater 3 is provided in a state of projection, and a water-absorbing substance 4 in the shape of sheet is arranged on the surface thereof and removably inserted between a brush attachment 5 and the brush main body 6. The surface of the water-absorbing substance 4 is at a higher place than the surface of an opening frame 5a of the brush attachment 5. When water is contained in the water-absorbing substance and hair is brushed by bristles 5b, enough water can be applied since the water- absorbing substance 4 comes into contact with the hair and directly applies warm water to the hair. A higher effect of straightening vicious hair is thus obtained and that hot feeling is applied to the hair reduces.
