Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To browse many hairstyles with the feeling of browsing a hairstyle catalog anytime and anywhere without a troublesome procedure, to have self counseling to see whether or not a selected hairstyle matches with a person on the spot and to enable a hairdresser to make the hairstyle desired by a customer by supplying the required technical information from the data information on the hairstyle presented by the customer relating to a hairstyle selection system.
SOLUTION: This system comprises a data base system 4 composed of a data base server 6 storing hairstyle information and the hairstyle development 42 and a program server 7, and a customer side terminal and a hairdresser side terminal connected to the data base system 4 through the Internet 1, or the like, and capable of retrieving / browsing the hairstyle information. The customer side terminal is provided with a hairstyle display means for displaying many hairstyles, a means for selecting and displaying the desired one from many displayed hairstyles, and a means for preparing a composite image by superimposing the face of the customer himself/herself photographed with an equipped camera 2a on the selected hairstyle and displaying it. The hairdresser side terminal is provided with a means for retrieving / displaying the hairstyle development 42 corresponding to the hairstyle of the composite image displayed on the customer side terminal.
