Title:
HAMMERING TOOL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2010052119
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a technique effective in softening impact due to idle striking in a hammering tool in which a tool bit is linearly driven in the longitudinal direction.

The hammering tool includes: a hammering element 143 hammering a tool bit 119; a sealed space 163 formed on the front of the hammering direction of the hammering element 143; an air hole 165 communicating the inside of the sealed space 163 with the outside; a tool holder 137 holding the tool bit 119, and disposed in the sealed space 163 to be movable between a closing position for closing the air hole 165 and an opening position for opening the air hole 165; and an energizing member 153 energizing to put the tool holder 137 on the closing position. When the hammering element 143 is moved to the sealed space side beyond a hammering position in idle striking, the energizing member 153 softens the impact of abutment between the hammering element 143 and the tool holder 137 by elastically deforming, and returns the tool holder 137 moved to the opening position by the abutment to the closing position.
