To provide a pneumatic impact mechanism that reduces friction and complexity of a displaceable heavy-load element, and a dry blow prevention means that has a more reliable operating characteristic.
A hand-held power tool device for generating at least an impact movement of a tool 6 comprises the pneumatic impact mechanism having an air spring 1 in a guide cylinder 2 and having the ary blow prevention means for an impact with no active axial pressing force. In a ary blow, an impact plunger 4 and an impact member 5 are set in a ary blow position to evacuate the air spring 1 to the atmosphere via a vent groove 9 controllable on a valve opening 8 and extending axially outside the guide cylinder 2. The vent groove 9 extends from an axial region of the air spring 1 to an axial region of the impact member, and the valve opening for evacuating the air spring is closable by the impact member 5 in an operating position.
